Fairer Charging (FC) is an initiative which aims to standardise and improve how clients are both assessed and charged for services that they receive from the Government.

Product Features and Functionality:

• Captures Client Information – including Financial Assessment, Disability Expenditure Assessment and Care Package Assessment
• Powerful Search/Filter – Easily locate client records
• Processing Rules and Calculations – A rules based calculator to enable the team to determine amounts according to set criteria in each of the following categories: potential charge, the net assessable income, capital cap rule and the actual charge.
• Import/Export – Data can be imported from or extracted to other systems using Open Standards
• Maintenance – Add or modify details held including the parameters to support rules and calculations, data entries, letter types and reminder periods.
• Reporting – Standard reports are available in addition to a flexible Ad-hoc report generation tool.
• Dialogue, Events and Letters – Event tracking to set diary reminders for future actions.
