Supporting People requires:

• Provision of housing with support based on the needs of individual users.
• Payment of SP grant based on individual’s needs rather than the type of accommodation they live in.
• Continuing payment of the SP grant is subject to regular monitoring and Best Value reviews.
• Payments of SP grants are made by the Administering Authorities via IT systems, in line with the e-government agenda.
